Donate your Boat to Charity!

God said that He came to earth to serve and not to be served. We, while in the pursuit for Christ-likeness, would want to do the same. As pursuing this, we look up to God, who has become the best model on how to work for others generously and sincerely.

There are several ways to help those who are in need. Most of us share our talents and anything that we have for other’s sake. Some give a portion of their wealth to bring happiness to the poor. These and more bring glory to God.

Today, we are entrapped in a world of plastics and metals and robots. Nonetheless, the glory of God remains prevalent because of the generous people who are like stars studded in a vast black space. That, even online, nothing stops people from giving a portion of their life for others. Among the sites that will testify this is the www.boatangel.org.

Angel Ministries is the root of boatAngel, where
boat donations are used to create children's animations and anti-drug documentaries. You can find on their site a preview of several positive media produced by their ministry instead of (like most donation firms) the salaries produced for those who work there.

If you want to
donate boats too, you can assure that the proceeds will also go to the rehabilitation of teens and new hope for the prisoners. When you are ready to say to yourself: “I’ll donate my boat to charity”, do it for God’s glory. God knows your intentions, and He is just enough to make the compensation.

SALAMAT

I was so inspired to sing earlier. I was playing the beatbox, while performing alone >> in front of my little brother haha (maybe it’s because of the practice yesterday that was actually postponed). I don’t know why but it was just something different. I missed God. I realize that I have been so preoccupied with my home-based job. Im sorry Lord.

It feels good to miss Him. Such intense feeling has given me the enthusiasm to make a new song for Him (in spite of all the deadlines haunting me).

This is called SALAMAT…. Salamat sayo aking AMA. Dahil sayo, nakakagawa ako ng kanta.. huhuhu… this is only for You my Father.

SALAMAT

by chibi

Salamat, Salamat
Sa’yong kamay, sa’yong ngiti
Salamat, Salamat
Sa luha, at sa yakap

Refrain:
Alam kong hindi naman ako karapat dapat sa iyo
Ngunit ika’y nandyan, nananatiling tapat
At nagmamahal
Salamat, salamat

Chorus:

Aking Ama anong magagawa’t maibibigay
Ng ‘sang tulad ko
Ni walang maihahandog
Liban sa buhay
Na Sa’yo lamang iaalay

This is actually my first tagalog christian song compo :D

Dad's ringtone is HOLD ON!

Most of my friends know that my favorite song is HOLD ON. This is from a Christian Contemporary music band called 33 miles. The lyrics is perfectly catchy because it strikingly influences everyone’s heart- it's as if Jesus is talking through that song. So everytime someone listens to this song for the first time, I know, he/she considers it LSS. I bet, even my dad.

I never thought that my dad will appreciate such kind of music. I remember some months ago when he asked me to download some songs in his cp. I don’t have a huge collection of worldy songs but I do have countless mp3s of CCMs and PWs. Some of the tracks that I have shared with him were one way, tell the world, Lord I give you my heart, shout for joy, and HOLD on.

My friends know how I like HOLD ON, and you guess how my heart jumped when I heard my dad’s phone rang. I smiled and look up, “Lord thank you for the gentle heart of my dad, who appreciates songs from me.” I believe, my dad is also proud of my compositions as he tells stories about these to his friends.

Music has always been part of my life. And I thank God for the father that he has given me, for he has never become a hindrance to any of my pursuits. He is supportive and kind to me. I know he is imperfect but God knows how I love him. Thank you Lord for the gift. Thank you for my dad’s life.

HOLD ON
by 33Miles
Ive been there a thousand times
Felt the rain like a thousand knives and it hurts
I know it hurtsIve been there like a fighter plane
Trying to fly my way through a hurricane and its hard
I know its hardDont be afraid
Youll make it through
Just call out to me
And Ill come running to you
Hold onHold on
When the current pulls you under
And your heart beats like thunder
Just give me your hand
And hold on
Hold onuntil the storm is over
And Ill be fighting for you
Just give me your hand
And hold on
Ill give you hope Ill give you faith
And if its dark Ill light the way for you
For youBy your side until the end
Until youre standing tall again
Iâm here
Ill always be here
Always be here
and if the tide sweeps you out to sea
When your strength is gone and its hard to believe
Hold on
Hold on
When the current pulls you under
And your heart beats like thunder
Just give me your hand
And hold on
Hold onuntil the storm is over
And Ill be fighting for you
Just give me your hand
And hold on
