ever heard of the english version for HARANA?

I don’t know how I landed on this impressive site of a young artist (a lad named ron reyes) who can play several instruments (of course not all at the same time wehek! He’s human not mutant). Well, i’d rather not question how, because I’m lucky to discover his cool site.

My friend Arnie on Pop Music Festival as finalist!

I've promised to give my view about the recent verdict regarding the plunder case of Erap (which i heard is not over yet since a motion for reconsideration will be filed on later days by Erap's party). However, i just got a more important news to share. Joke. After this, i'll do the Erap case column. swear. To start this..let me say......

My fellow singer-songwriter and friend Arnie is presently getting busy with his music while setting up a probable edifice for building his career on recording. Last September 8, he made it to the top ten for the current prestigious music festival in Pampanga, the Aslag Kapampangan Pop Music Festival. No doubt, Arnie is one talented artist.

"NOKARIN Ka"

As one of the ten finalists, Arnie will be going hither and yon to attend press conference, recording, interviews, and all. (wahek! Arnie ikaw ang bigatin! Iyugyug mo!). Arnie told me that he will be interpreting his own song entitled “Nokarin ka”. This song and the other 9 pieces (by his fellow finalists) will be played for 20 consecutive days on local radio stations to gather votes from the listeners. For further information, I think you may tune in to RW 95.1 FM.

To all of you in Pampanga, Tarlac, and other places to be announced later> tatanungin ko pa sya ...let’s support Arnie! Believe me, this artist rocks!

Regarding arnie's entry

"Nokarin ka" will be lauched on October 1, 2007 through radio airplay. By then, you may start voting for his song! He has sent me a copy of his demo recording and it was amazing! I told him that it sounded like a korean song (since all entries used kapampangan language as medium for the lyrics- if i'm not mistaken). His song is really interesting. Good job Arnie!

Unfortunately i cannot share it to you yet because arnie might get sued for it (wahehe- don't worry it will be aired on Oct.1). Nevertheless, if you want to know how arnie sounds like, you can visit his artist page on esnips.
