Five principles to live a valuable life

This is how I interpret Bo Sanchez' principles:

BELIEVE YOU ARE BIGGER

When we think like we are insects, we will never realize that we are giants. God gave us one of the strongest muscles in our body – which are found in our BRAIN, so why not maximize it? Let’s stop thinking that we are not blessed with talents, skills, and intelligence because for a fact, we are not just applying and optimizing our brain capacity. Stop believing the myth saying that we just use 10% of our brain because it is one fictitious piece of information! We have the capacity to let 100% of our brain work. Think big! But don’t forget to be humble…

BE CONSISTENT WITH FUNDAMENTALS

Read the bible and chew on God’s word. Pray ..
Have a list of your goals, list of dreams, and list of your missions..
Avoid exposing yourself to bad news, instead, maximize time for digesting good news around you. These things won’t make you look or feel boring. It is not boring; it is just wise. Remember that the word wise is almost the root word of WISDOM.

FOCUS ON YOUR CORE GIFT

We are not perfect. But we are sure that God has blessed us with different talents and skills. You should not fear and think that you don’t have any. Open your eyes and discover it. Who knows, you have the gift of sharing God’s word, which I personally wish to have.

BUILD YOUR NETWORK

No man is an island – sounds like a cliché, yet we must admit that it is true. We can walk alone in the street but we cannot live alone in our lives. Life is like a game, in which we work with team-mates. Remember that Jesus did not walk alone, as he shared the gospel with his disciples. Every person we know is like a book, from whom we learn new things. Build an ideal outer world to develop a good inner world. Consider your outer world as your biggest library. Pick the right books! Play with different batches of team-mates!

CREATE AN AUTOPILOT SYSTEM

God doesn’t need a program. But we are not like Him. Our capacity is just a speck of His power. But God is so great for giving us the brain to think and plan for our “projects”.

Make a framework and system to use in your game – your life. Your system may change eventually, but make sure that the change focuses on better points of view. Getting through the battle without a sword will end up to a loss.
